In the book of Zephaniah

"those who turn back from following the LORD and neither seek the LORD nor inquire of him"(Zephaniah 1:6)
Be silent before the Sovereign LORD, for the day of the LORD is near. (Zephaniah 1:7a)

Heavenly, Father
I want to be humble before you and your people, please, help me be humble and rely on you and your words. please, put the heart of purity and holy mind before you on my heart and mind, which cause me to stand on Truth with mercy and faithfulness.

I repent not to follow you and to seek your will and your kingdom.
I would like to follow you and obey what you are saying in our lives. Heavenly Father, please, help me discern your will and your way and your commands in the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

"On that day I will punish all who avoid stepping on the threshold, who fill the temple of their gods with violence and deceit. (Zephaniah 1:9).

Heavenly Father, you destroy and judge idols with violence and deceit which is not from you. please, the Lord, help me not involve violent words, mind, thought, relationship and deceitful heart and actions. You hate them, so I do not want to follow violent and deceitful life. I need your help to discern your will in every situations. please, give your wisdom to know your truth and will in the power of the Holy Spirit.

"Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD's anger (Zephaniah 2:3).

"This is what they will get in return for their pride, for insulting and mocking the people of the LORD Almighty" (Zephaniah 2:10).

"This is the carefree city that lived in safety. She said to herself, "I am, and there is none besides me." (Zephaniah 2:15a).
